Biography
Zeus is the King of the Gods in Greek mythology, and the God of the Sky and Lightning. He was also regarded as an Egyptian god by the name of Amun. The youngest son of the leaders of the Titans, Cronus and Rhea, he was spared by his mother from the fate of being swallowed by his father which had befallen his older siblings, due to Cronus's fear that his children would overthrow him just as he had overthrown his father Uranus. After growing up, he caused Cronus to regurgitate his siblings and subsequently led them in a war against the Titans. Defeating the Titans and sealing most of them within Tartarus, Zeus ruled from atop Mt. Olympus, overseeing the world with the other deities of his generation, the Olympians.
Zeus is somewhat infamous for his pursuits and offspring, known for having fathered many gods and demigods with a large number of women, often bringing the wrath and jealousy of his spouse Hera down upon them in the process. He is father of both Heracles and Perseus. Although there is no proof, Alexander the Great was also called his son in some stories and consequently gained Divinity as a Heroic Spirit. The Divine Bulls that pull Gordius Wheel, which were an offering to him stolen by Alexander, are called the "Children of Zeus" and generate lightning that is said to be a manifestation of Zeus.
__In Fate/Grand Order Cosmos in the Lostbelt:__
~!Formally, the Interstellar Combat-Purpose Annihilation Type Mobile Fortress, Flagship Zeus, he was in charge of the management of the next generation of ships after the Titans, later known as the Twelve Olympians.
Within the Atlantic Lostbelt, history diverged in 12,000 BC. To fight the White Titan that was already on the Earth, Zeus made the hasty and unilateral decision of usurping the authorities of his fellow gods, acquiring the functionalities of the entire Olympian pantheon as a whole, gaining enough power to effectively strike down the White Calamity. Zeus managed to protect Olympus and the planet, but he was deeply abhorred by the other ships for infringing their respective domains without their consent. Upon the time of deciding whether the gods should remain on ruling over the man or coexist with them, Zeus was the sole member of the Administration Faction, standing alone against the remaining Olympians. In the Olympiamachia, he destroyed the mechanical bodies of Athena, Hestia, Hades, Ares and Hephaestus (althought he spared the later's cerebral unit, using it to manage and maintain Olympus more efficiently), whose wreckages fell into the seas of Atlantis and became islands, and punished the survivors by forcing them to his side: Artemis and Poseidon were reprogrammed to serve as the defense layers of Atlantis; Demeter was forced to murder her daughter Persephone, driving her into madness; Aphrodite had her nature as the goddess of love overturned, turning her into a cold goddess who manages the mankind though mental control. To save Hera, whose aletheia had been destroyed, he combined the remnants of his consort with one of his concubines, turning her into her priestess and divine bride. Having reaffirmed his existence as the King of the Gods, he continued ruling over Olympus and the humanity until the present.!~
