Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley is an English actress. She began her acting career by appearing in minor television roles, before being cast as the main protagonist, Rey, in the Star Wars sequel trilogy – first appearing in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Her first anime role came in 2016 when she voiced the English version of Taeko Okajima in the 1991 Ghibli film; Only Yesterday.
