He is best known for his work as the Head Writer of Animation at Rooster Teeth. Miles was a core employee at Rooster Teeth, working on editing and graphic design. After helping co-write season 10 of Red vs Blue, [Burnie Burns](https://anilist.co/staff/278047) entrusted Miles with near-complete creative control of the series. He would take this opportunity to direct and write seasons 11-14 of RvB, before he too passed the position down to Joe Nicolosi. Outside of Red vs Blue, he was also a co-writer of RWBY, a co-creator of both RWBY Chibi and Camp Camp. and helped the development of Nomad of Nowhere. Miles has also voiced an array of characters from Rooster Teeth's many animated series, including [Jaune Arc](https://anilist.co/character/134355/Jaune-Arc) from RWBY, David from Camp Camp, Miguel Garza from Gen:LOCK, and Felix from Red vs. Blue. Miles frequent appeared across a wide array of Rooster Teeth content, often popping in during both The Rooster Teeth Podcast and On The Spot. He also co-hosted an anime podcast called Fan Service. He eventually left Rooster Teeth in March 2020 to pursue personal interests, but would remain active in RWBY's production. He later became engaged to and married a former Creative Producer at Rooster Teeth, Eleanor Main. Outside of Rooster Teeth, he has worked as a writer and narrative designer in the video game industry, working on both Kill It With Fire 2 and Slave Zero X.
